Goodbye

Dearest Henry,
I know that you can’t read this and that you are at peace. I want you to know that although we will miss you like crazy that we will be okay. We are so very very sorry that we couldn’t help you to feel happier and that you were suffering for so long and that we understand why you had to do what you did.
We hope so much that you just fell asleep with your lovely Tsuki on your bed.
We promise to look after her very well, as well as you did, and not let Basil worry her.
She is fine, she is eating her wet food and is roaming abut the house and then sometimes she is in your room. She has let us stroke her and play with her a bit. She cried a little yesterday ( meowed) but she will be okay I promise. Of course she will stay with us for the rest of her life.
We thank you for your thought for us and how you knew that this would be very difficult for us.
So you timed this so your brother wasn’t here and that your Dad  be here so we would find you together which we did 8 minutes after receiving the email from you.

Here is a sort of Poem that I never sent to you that I wrote about a month ago.

OLD
Do not forget, he is not home yet.
Smile, I miss his smile.

So much effort and thinking, how could he be sinking?

We love him so much. he loves his animals. Love unconditional. Love not traditional.
LOVE

The nature, trees, PLEASE (come back)
Fire pit,tent.

I meant
To say I love you.
I’m sorry so sorry for your pain.

NEW

Awake.
Adventure, AQA, removed from harsh regimes and rules and thoughts.

I see you. Running, weight lifting.
Smiling. Sharing.
Never drifting from your dreams.
Japan, animation, digital art, music.
Contentment.

I love you.

I’m so so happy you have achieved what you want to be.

Always,
Our beautiful handsome so so clever thoughtful sensitive boy.

Our Henry
We will always be here for you.

AFTER

You went to sleep on the 27th of October forever.
You did as kindly and thoughtfully ( as always) as you could have done.
We will honour your request for cremation and looking after Tsuki and not think too much.
We will always always remember your happier times and what you gave to us.
I will forever wear your dinosaur tooth necklace and the moon token that you gave Tsuki.
Everytime I see the moon I will imagine you are near me and in the leaves and the trees in the beautiful seasons.
Although you didn’t always believe it so many people know just how clever and thoughtful you are and regret not being able to help you realise that you could have a good life.

Rest now my darling boy.

Love Mum Dad and Ben
